Welcome to the Find A Therapist community and I honor your courage in taking the steps to heal your life.
I am Lei-Ann Bridges and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I graduated from Argosy University in 2012 with a Master of Art in Community Counseling and have over eight years of experience working with clients experiencing a variety of issues. I have experience working with clients with severe persistent mental illness, including anxiety, major depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder in the clinical and community setting. In addition, I am experienced in offering support for parenting issues, self-esteem, motivation, healthy communication, addiction, anger management and spiritual and religious issues.
I am motivated to support clients in healing because I believe we each have what it takes to live joyful, fulfilling lives. The answers are within each of us and with the right support we can access all we need to achieve our goals. I describe myself as a compassionate, spiritually grounded person who recognizes the innate ability to heal emotional and mental wounds. While healing requires dedication and hard work, I also believe healing can have exciting and fun moments.
I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other cognitive therapies, Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Clinical Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Dream Analysis.
