Hello, my name is Layla Hayes, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 5 years of experience. I graduated from Southeast Missouri University with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and then again year later with a Specialist of Education degree in Counseling Supervision and Education. I am licensed to counsel in Missouri and Kansas. I went back to school in my mid 30’s to become a counselor. I find that with my life experience in addition to my education, I am able to connect with a wide range of clients. I have worked with a number of issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-harm, addiction, trauma, LGTBQ concerns, and life changes.

My counseling style is Person-Centered, which is a humanistic approach. With guidance and learned skills, I believe that my clients have the ability to make the changes necessary to improve their life. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that is attainable and productive in helping you reach your goals.
