Hello,
I am Laura Giles, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 17 years of experience in the Mental Health Field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, OCD, trauma (physical, sexual, and emotional abuse), grief due to loss of a loved one through death or separation.

My therapy style focuses upon treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Humor is also a valuable tool in treatment as it fosters openness, acceptance, and comfort. At the same time, I focus upon helping people accept responsibility for their recovery and actions. Treatment modalities that I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure, and Mindfulness. I am continually seeking training that embodies treatment needs that I see in clients so that I can make adjustments to meet each client's specific needs.
