Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health. She has worked as a leader in mental health care and is uniquely qualified to support other professionals and leaders. She also specializes in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, working with law enforcement, Veterans, women’s issues, relational issues, suicidal ideation, work stress, trauma recovery, and other topics. What is your approach to therapy? Laura utilizes Motivational Interviewing techniques, Gestalt Therapy techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy as well as other techniques to influence her practice. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? As a clinician she uses humor and laughter as well as compassion and kindness to support you through your therapeutic process.
