First, let me say good for you for choosing to improve your overall well being. The first step is hardest, and you've conquered it!

My name is Lacy Fourong, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California, with 13 years experience of working in the field of serving the severely mentally ill. My background includes but is not limited to, working with children, families, adolescents, adults, in the 1:1 and group capacities. Additionally, I have 6 years experience in Healthcare Administration overseeing an outpatient mental health facility. Modalities I've used in treatment are Person-Centered, Behavioral Modification, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Therapies, as well as Existential, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, and Solution Focused, to name a few. I have experience in working with people suffering with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, Impulse Control Disorders, PTSD, Attachment Issues, Relationship Issues, Communication Issues, Self-Harm, Suicide, Depression, Anxiety & Panic Disorders, amongst more.

What does all that mean? It means I've spent the last 13 years doing my best to help people suffering with an emotional or mental ailment. It means I've walked by their side, rooted for them as they try to improve their relationships, their lives, and offered my hand when they have fallen. It means I'll be your biggest cheerleader. It means I'll be there for you, even if you don't like hearing some honest truths. It means I'll help you to uncover the hard things in your life that you couldn't previously face alone. I'll be there with you and for you. You'll be doing the work, I'll be the guide.
