Hello, my name is Kristy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LMHC), dual-licensed in both Missouri and Iowa. In my 13 years of experience, I have helped clients with a wide range of concerns, including: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, addiction, and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have struggled with physical trauma and emotional abuse.

Reaching out to talk with someone can seem scary and overwhelming, but it is a brave first step toward getting better. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and will provide a safe environment for you that is free of judgment or stigmatizing labels.

My approach to helping you is solution-focused, and combines a diverse range of treatments, including: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and rational emotive counseling. But most importantly, I’m here to listen and support. I want to help you succeed and conquer those roadblocks on your road to positive change.
