Welcome to the Find A Therapist community! My name is Kristina Taylor and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I provide therapy via TaylorWellnessGroup.com and also part-time here at Find A Therapist. I graduated from Ashford University in 2010 with a degree in Psychology then from Texas A&M Commerce in 2012 with my Master's in Social Work. During my time working on my degree I completed my internship in a private practice setting. I am a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH) and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).

I have since worked with people dealing with a wide range of issues from mood disorders, personality disorders, grief, faith issues, life transitions, depression, LGBT issues, attachment issues, self-harm, PTSD, stress and anxiety.

My PRIMARY FOCUS is in areas of relationship problems, recovery from trauma and abuse, self-worth, attachment, codependency, Narcissist personality disorder, and intimacy issues.

The idea of beginning therapy can leave you feeling uncertain of where to begin. My training taught me to meet you where you are in your life. My goal is to help you improve your relationships, how you feel and how you function. I work with a wide range of therapeutic modalities to help clients depending on their individual needs and goals. Some of the modalities I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Sex Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Client-Centered Therapy.

The relationship between the Client and Therapist is a key component for success in therapy. I will provide a safe and caring environment where you can talk freely about your concerns while receiving empathy, compassion, and understanding from me. You have already taken the first step. I would be happy to help you along your journey.

I provide live session appointments with Find A Therapist as well as provide services through my private practice. I typically provide sessions here on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-6pm EST, and Tuesdays and Fridays 10am-4:00 pm EST on this platform. These hours are subject to change based on my availability. If you are needing evening or weekend appointments I will NOT be the best option for you.
