HI There! My name is Kristi Schlegel. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor In Missouri. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. My expertise is related to working with individuals with women's issues, postpartum, perinatal, infertility issues, life transitions, , self-esteem, and grief and loss as well as symptoms of depression and anxiety. I work with all ages.

My approach to therapy is based on client need. My work is grounded in a client centered strengths-based/insight-oriented perspective. Some of the modalities I use are Choice Theory & Reality Therapy, Humanistic approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy.

My goal is to meet people where they are and collaboratively walk through their journey as I assist them towards fulfilling their fullest potential, healing , and achieving their goals.
I consider my counseling to be warm and interactive. I respect and work extensively with Teens and Adolescents. I believe in treating everyone, no matter their age, with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My goal is to meet people where they are and collaboratively walk through their journey as I assist them towards fulfilling their fullest potential, healing , and achieving their goals.
