Hello! My name is Kristi (she/her) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. I have over seven years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in various settings including out-client, school-based, inpatient, and residential programming. My primary focus for the past few years has been supporting at-risk homeless youth and young adults. I am particularly interested in working with people who have experienced trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, substance use, life transitions, relational, and attachment issues.

My treatment focus aligns with my areas of expertise which include a passion for working with individuals through a strengths-based approach. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive environment for people to show up as their authentic, whole self.

It is important for you to know that I value the genuine connection between client and therapist, recognizing when it’s the right fit, the connection, above all else, is what facilitates healing, change, and growth. I approach my work with an admiration for the courage it takes a person to come to therapy.

Through a holistic/integrative perspective, I particularly enjoy utilizing strategies from client-centered approaches, motivational interviewing, attachment theories, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. By using a variety of styles from a few different modalities, we will work together to form an individualized treatment plan that is designed to best address your needs.
