Hi there! My name is K.J. Thompson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including crisis counseling, inpatient, and outpatient working with individuals experiencing significant distress in several areas of life. Most of my clinical experience has been working with individuals struggling with substance use as well as depression, self-harm, self-esteem, mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, panic attacks and trauma. I approach therapy from a person-centered approach with the belief that you know yourself best and I am but a vesicle to assist you on your journey towards balanced wellness. My goal is to meet you where you are and ensure a safe space to process the chaotic nuts and bolts of life and provide the support you seek.
