I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based approach, and provide individualized care in order to meet each client’s unique needs. I actively collaborate with clients to best understand their thoughts, feelings, and psychological processes, all while gently guiding, challenging, and supporting clients along the way. The primary goal is to establish a trusting, safe, and comfortable environment where clients can freely express and process feelings, learn to cope with stressors, establish a secure sense of self, and begin taking steps toward a healthy, stable, well-balanced life. My treatment approach involves first building a strong therapeutic relationship to ensure the maximum growth of each client. I understand that seeking therapeutic services is not always an easy choice, but my goal is to provide a “safe and nurturing” environment for clients to feel comfortable expressing concerns and working towards a resolution. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques including: Client-Centered Therapy, Solution- Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to address concerns and develop a treatment plan together to ensure your specific goals are addressed.
