Hello! My name is Kim and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina with over 15 years experience. I started my career with a community mental health clinic and I now have my own part-time practice as well as directing the day-to-day operations of a women's shelter. I would say I am a generalist, with experience treating most mental health diagnoses except eating disorders but my passion is working with people experiencing anxiety and depression. I also have a heart for individuals experiencing grief and those in need of treatment for PTSD. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral perspective and I am trained to use Cognitive Processing Therapy for those struggling with PTSD.

I love helping people heal! I am easy to talk with, easy going and highly empathetic. I realize it takes a lot of courage to seek out counseling and just as much motivation to do the work required to see lasting change. This is why I have the utmost respect for anyone seeking help for the challenges they are experiencing!!
