My interest in becoming a helping professional began in high school when I was looking for someone to guide me through my issues as a teenager. After seeing the overwhelmingly positive impact counseling had on me, I made it my passion and mission to return the favor to others. I have worked in the private practice setting for the past 3 and a half years and have helped clients from all walks of life, and specialize in the aforementioned areas. I take a directive approach to helping my clients while making sure they are an integral part of the decision-making process for positive change. In other words, I don't like to beat around the bush - you deserve actionable tools, so we can start working on things immediately. Trust me, I know how difficult it can be to search for help.
