Hi there. My name is Kenneth.
My overall goal with any of my clients is to bring you to a place where you will no longer need me. We will work together to resolve the immediate issue for which your contacted me, however in addition to this very important task it is my hope that as we work through the process you would acquire a number of skills that would enable you to confidently face future challenges.
I received my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Supervisor in the State of Florida. I also received my Doctor of Psychology in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University. Currently I am an Adjunct Professor of Psychology and a full time Pastor. I find myself being uniquely placed in the worlds of science and spirituality with the ability to successfully negotiate issues in both.
At this point you may be asking what method of therapy or what theories I may subscribe to. My short answer to your question is that I cannot be placed neatly into a box or “pigeon holed”. I believe it is more important that you are provided with the help that will lead you through your challenge than to focus on any one method. My approach could be considered to be more of an eclectic one though I do however favor a solution focused approach with an accent of the cognitive behavioral approach. I do not pretend to know what is best for you so we work together to discover what that might be.
