About

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of psychiatric social work experience, substance abuse, family therapy and diagnosis. I have experience in helping clients with severe mental illness, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, marital issues, codependency, parenting. I have worked in outpatient mental health, in home family therapy, residential treatment for adolescent girls, as a substance abuse counselor and behavioral health manager for an Adult inpatient psychiatric unit.

I am a mom of a teenage son who has grown way too fast :( and the wife of a law enforcement officer. I care for a 13 year old lab, 2 cats and 6 chickens. I love to decorate my home for all the seasons/holiday's, watch movies, travel, laugh and nurture the ones I love!

I believe compassion, directness and a sense of humor are the cornerstones for a safe place to change. My goal is to be "real" with you, help you reach your goals, learn to tackle bad habits and negativity in your life, help you to cope with stress better as well as how to be kind to yourself! Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to listen, provide compassion, encourage and support you!
