Hi. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with over ten years of clinical experience, working with clients with very diverse backgrounds with a wide array of issues. I strive to listen to clients, have them help me to learn more of their backgrounds, histories, and issues they are facing, and over the course of our time together help them to feel less stuck and more capable of finding solutions, consider alternative perspectives, learn more about themselves and their patterns, and to ultimately feel better and more confident about themselves and their lives.

I endeavor to work with people to help them to arrive at their truths, more accurately and personally define themselves and their stories, expand options for what is possible for them, gain mastery in setting personal boundaries, practice self-forgiveness and self-appreciation, learn and practice clear and effective communication skills, acting as their own friend and advocate in the process.

Working as a counselor has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I view a client’s sharing his/her/their time, stories, feelings, and struggles with me as the ultimate honor and privilege. Beginning and continuing forth in a therapeutic relationship is a demonstration of faith and vulnerability that is both courageous and trusting. Clients embarking on this process with me is a gift that I work to always cherish and never take for granted.
