Hello!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Alabama and I have been working in a counseling field since 2012. I have experience conducting individual, couple and family therapy, in-office and online. My approach is integrative, utilizing Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

I believe that each of us have unique struggles in life and that we all do the best we can with the knowledge and resources we have at that time. I recognize that no one is perfect and that no relationship or family is without challenges. My approach is to come along side you, understand your story without judgment or blame, and help you identify what is preventing you from being where you want to be and keeping you stuck. I work collaboratively with my clients to set and achieve goals specifically tailored to them.

I've developed expertise in helping clients with: adjustment to new life circumstances (such as going to college), anxiety, depression, self esteem, family conflict, stress management, relationship issues, trauma, resolving family of origin issues, and parenting. I provide a safe and encouraging environment. My clients appreciate my warm and straightforward approach. I look forward to working with you!
