I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri with over 10 years experience. I have extensive experience in providing individual, family, and group counseling on issues ranging from trauma, grief, interpersonal relationship difficulty, substance abuse, anger, anxiety, and depression. I thrive on expanding my attributes to become more vital to the therapeutic process. I work especially well with individuals who have experienced trauma and those who are going through a rough transition or unexpected change. I am dedicated to fostering a safe environment and working with individuals to develop customized plans to improve their quality of life. I also have several years of experience working in Behavioral Medicine ranging from mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention and de-escalation. I have served as a therapist on the mental health unit with acute psychiatric patients as well.

I have over 10 years of work experience in several social service agencies including foster care, Veteran services, and inpatient/outpatient drug treatment. I have provided counseling and case management to clients from all walks of life. I try to remain informed and educated so that I can provide a culturally competent therapeutic atmosphere.

My counseling style is warm, empathetic, and client-centered. My number one goal is to make clients feel heard. Together myself and clients start developing the roadmap tailored to their needs.
