Specializing in coping skills, grief and loss, self-esteem, special needs parenting, & Dignity Therapy. I am a clinical therapist with over 20 years of experience counseling individuals, from children dealing with traumatic loss, to foster and adoptive issues, self-esteem girls groups, to people with terminal illnesses. I use strength-based cognitive behavioral therapy to assist clients in setting goals and bringing about the changes they desire. Inspired in hospice work with helping terminally ill clients find dignity and meaning in their lives, I completed Dignity Therapy training through Dr. Harvey Max Chochinov.
I am also a certified Red Cross disaster action team member and Reiki practitioner. I am involved with various Autism groups as mom to a special needs child. Art, writing, music, and photography are just some of the treatment modalities used to bring about healing in my clients.
