I feel so lucky to have been a part of peoples' change process for 7 years.I love working with everyone willing to work - and when we work together I expect change! I bring my personality to the room to help everyone, but my favorite topics are couples, parents ,men's issues, and those struggling with chronic pain/illness. My career path has had me treating individuals, couples, and families aged 3-70 with issues from anxiety, depression, and communication to PTSD, pain, and narcissism to most things in between. I have a variety of specialized trainings and enjoy keeping up to date on the latest research.

As we work together you'll quickly see that while I am very educated, I'm also easy to relate to and very empathetic. I believe that much of the change in therapy relies on a good connection and fit with your therapist so using this a basis, I employ a variety of therapeutic models depending on your concerns, preferences, and progress. However, I tend to use a lot of cognitive behavioral and narrative techniques. I believe we all have potential and strengths we don't know exist and I love to help people use their existing strengths to achieve their goals.

Personally I have lived and worked in both California and Georgia and you will find influences from both places in my work. Working with me you can expect to be challenged, have a few laughs, learn some data, and hopefully see substantial progress. When I'm not working I'm typically spending time with my family, playing video games, or curled up with my dog and a good book!
