About

Hello! My name is Kathy Kinskey and I have a masters degree in marriage and family counseling from Phillips Graduate Institute. I count myself as very lucky to be a licensed and seasoned professional counselor who has worked with individuals, families and children for over 26 years! My continued training and experience continue to help me hone my specialization in attachment and trauma work so as you and I collaborate, we have the tools and partnership to help you thrive! Attachment and trauma work are important areas for all of us to address if we want to live and love fully. Taking a quiz and identifying your attachment style is the first step to putting the puzzle pieces together about how your attachment style may be influencing your life - how and who you choose as a life partner, how you relate to your children, yourself, your work, money and to all of life! I also specialize in preparation for birth and adoption, bonding, post partum/ post-adoption adjustment and depression - all areas where attachment work can transform your life and your relationships! Know that attachment work can be a fascinating and fun process of discovery! And know, too, we have great tools today...and you have support here in using those tools to meet your goals. Lastly, evidence-based tools for trauma and attachment work can also help you remove entrepreneurial and career blocks and to find your way through anxiety and loss. You can break through old patterns...patterns that are actually just signals that you need a safe and supportive environment along with effective tools so you can develop and use emotional literacy as essential life guidance. No one taught us this stuff. It's not your fault you don't have this information or these tools. The good news though is these things are here for us now!
