Hello, I am Dr. Kathryn Dole, I am a Licensed Marriage, Family (and Child) therapist. I am located in the greater Placer and Sacramento area of California and work with a wide variety of clients statewide via telehealth. My 30 years of experience and 28 years of education allow me to specialize in many different areas of mental health. I utilize theoretical interventions that can help solve your problems in the most effective and quickest way possible, based on your history, what is bothering you now, and the type of change you would like. Our work is not only about intervention it is also about prevention. My approach with clients is based on compassion, caring, respect and is an interpretative process derived from each client's own needs and goals. In addition to working with clients on intervention, I also work with them on prevention with the goals in mind that empower you to have more self-mastery and success in life, as well as the confidence to overcome future problems. I utilize many different skills and because of my experience and education I can coordinate therapies and techniques toward your own particular needs; after all one size doesn't fit all. Examples of some of the therapies I use are Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectic Cognitive Behavioral, Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma such as down-regulation, Tapping, Hypnosis, Motivational, Family Systems, and Developmental to name a few. I match the therapy to address your needs, establish common goals to be achieved and establish a communication connection.
