About

My name is Katherine Rodriguez and I'm a bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist living in Solano County and provide telehealth services to children and teenagers. Therapy can be an intimidating process, so for me it's important for telehealth sessions to feel comfortable as if we were in person. Helping the younger generation navigate the challenges they face is what the foundation of my practice is all about. It is truly important to me that my clients feel seen and heard. My approach I understand the unique needs of children and teenagers, and my therapeutic approach is tailored to create a safe and empathetic space for them to be able to express themselves. I value building relationships first in all my sessions and incorporate activities to support that. I believe in the power of open communication and collaboration with families to promote healing and growth. My focus I have been working with children and teenagers for over 12+ years. In recognition of the evolution of technology, I provide telehealth services to ensure that every child and teenager can access the support they need. This approach allows for flexibility and eliminates geographic barriers, making it easier for families to prioritize their own well-being. My communication style My communication style is calm and understanding. It is really important that when clients join our sessions, that it feels comfortable and safe to talk about what is on their mind. My journey to mental healthcare Being a therapist and supporting our children and teenagers over the years has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. What drives me to this work is being able to empower children and teenagers and hopefully make a difference in their life. I enjoy watching clients transform and that is what is the most fulfilling to me. My goals for you It's important for me that clients feel that therapy is beneficial.
