I am happy you decided to reach out for support.

My name is Kasheena Griner, a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Georgia. I received a Master's in Social Work from Valdosta State University where we received advanced generalist study. With an advanced generalist degree, we studied every possible area of social work to include individual, family and community work. In addition to the educational experience, I have worked with various populations including homeless adults, individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, substance abuse, HIV and families of children/adolescents with behavioral health concerns. Much of my direct practice experience was in an integrated health clinic which housed numerous disciplines from behavioral health, primary care, dental care and peer support programs. I feel the above experience has equipped me to help with almost anything.

I have learned that in therapy the most important thing I could do for a client is meet them where they are and truly connect with them. Getting to a place of being vulnerable enough to open up and share your struggles takes time and strength that some people can only hope to have. I don't take that experience for granted. I am able to adapt to what each of my clients need.

I offer messaging, live video chat and phone sessions with most availability in the evenings and some weekend availability. I may be more available than what is reflected on my actual calendar.
