My name is Kanya Glymph and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been a therapist for 20 years now and enjoy the opportunity to work with a variety of people in an array of circumstances and settings.

Generally, my sessions offer clients a warm, emotionally safe, non-judgmental environment to explore concerns and confront obstacles. Current and past clients have expressed feeling comfortable, respected and heard during therapy with me. This is intentional, as I believe a strong, trusting alliance between the client and the therapist sets the stage for awareness, growth and ultimately, change.

I am a Client-Centered therapist who employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness Techniques during sessions with clients. Should it become evident that my style or techniques are not a good fit with my client, I assist them in determining the best path forward, even if that is with one of my colleagues.
