I haveI have been Licensed as a Marital and Family Therapist since 2009. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities depending on the client’s unique needs, but mainly use a mixture of Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness therapy. I have experience in providing individual counseling, family, and group counseling. I have enjoyed working with clients of different races and cultures, religious backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I have worked as a supervisor for one of America’s most prominent mental health agencies, providing counseling services to clients and training and supervision for mental health therapists. I provide a place where you feel safe, comfortable, and free of judgment, where we work together to create your therapy goals and identify your strengths and unique gifts as a person and as an individual. My job is not to give advice but help guide you through the process that leads to decision-making, insight, awareness, and confirming the beauty within you. I need to help you build resilience and self-efficacy to continue to apply these skills as you encounter future changes and challenges in life. Life is change and transition. The Dragonfly is the symbol for my practice, and it symbolizes change and transition. The idea is to change through self-realization. This type of change is achieved via mental and emotional maturity and uncovering the deeper meaning of life. Although a dragonfly’s behavioral characteristics are incredible, it’s done gracefully and looks simple. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Quote by Wayne Dyer
