About

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and began providing therapy services in 2016. In the past, I have provided therapy services in a residential substance use treatment center and university-based clinic. Most recently I have worked in a private practice and also a community based mental health center . I believe therapy is most effective when tailored to the client’s needs, and when clients and I work as a team to address issues in treatment. I utilize a solution-focused approach and focus on collaborating with clients to find what works best for them and how to incorporate more of what works into their daily lives. I integrate mindfulness and self-care into the therapeutic process, while assisting clients in building self-confidence. During treatment clients can expect to be encouraged to take an active role in their sessions. I aim to provide support and an objective perspective on whatever issues a client may be experiencing.
