Hi! My name is June Schwartz, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of NY. I have over 25 years experience and graduated from Stony Brook University with a bachelors in psychology and a masters in social work.
Life can be very stressful at times. We are now dealing with our own problems, and now, in addition to this, we are dealing with a Global Pandemic and police brutality/racism. This can cause a lot of anxiety and panic attacks as well as depression. I am here to work with you on your personal issues as well as world issues that we all have to contend with at this most difficult time. I provide individual psychotherapy and stress management techniques when appropriate. My approach is individualized for each client, depending on his/her needs. I try to make the client most comfortable, and have been told that I am very patient , comforting and gentle. I would greatly love to work with you and help you cope in the best possible manner.
