About

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Missouri with over six years of experience working with individuals providing individual and group therapy services. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, communication problems, ADHD, impulse control, poor self-image and overall life dissatisfaction.

I also specialize in providing assistance and emotional support to families that have a loved one diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. As a parent of a child that is Type 1, I understand how life-altering this medical condition can be. I am here to offer support, encouragement and hope that things will get better as you and your family transition to a new way of life.

My therapy style is client centered and solution focused. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines a variety of approaches including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment, and psychodynamic. I believe there is not a "one size fits all" method and feel that a variety of tools are sometimes needed to assist individuals with their goals.
