About

Hi there, I'm Judy! Judy Wahl Talley LMFT 109568. My approach is mindfulness-based and trauma-informed. I work primarily with individuals and couples, ages teens to seniors. My approach My therapeutic approach is eclectic, utilizing Mindfulness, Client-Centered, CBT, EMDR, IFS, and Gottman Couples approaches. My focus My clients have commonly experienced traumas of different sorts, either in childhood or adulthood. Clients can be experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, worthlessness, hopelessness, ADHD, dissociation, PTSD, conflict in relationships, sleep disturbances, or struggling with addictions. Many feel alienated from this society and even their own families. I utilize therapies known to help heal these struggles. My communication style My tone/environment is relaxed, friendly, and personable. My belief is that each person has their own unique sets of answers to their dilemmas/questions, and my job is to help them identify and utilize them and create new ones when necessary. My journey to therapy Learning deeply about myself, what makes me tick and what motivates me, learning how to change a path that may lead to less desirable outcomes, and how to find joy, peace, amends, and fulfillment in each day. I came to believe that I could help others with the knowledge that I had gained and that it would be a compassionate way to give back to a Universe that has given so much to me. My goals for you Some clients come to therapy with distinct, definite goals in mind. Others come to therapy with more general feelings of discomfort and seek more guidance in identifying goals, and goals are identified through the process of revelation and discovery. I do my best to assist clients in identifying goals and even changing them when needed. My first session with you The first session is usually getting to know each other a bit and creating space for you to describe in your own way what has brought you to therapy this time.
