Joy Zembruski is a licensed marriage and family therapist LMFT and professional clinical counselor LPCC fortunate to be based in the beautiful coastal towns of Southern California. I have a long history of clinical and educational roles within private, non-profit and institutional settings. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Masters degree in Psychology from California Southern University completing a practicum at the University of Pepperdine’s PRYDE counseling diversion program. In addition to being licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I have an adult education teaching credential with an emphasis in TESL from the University of San Diego. I was employed by Orange County of Education alternative/correctional and special education programs that enabled me to work with at-risk population and utilize the power of mental healthcare systems to facilitate achievement.
