Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am board certified in the states of Illinois and Missouri. I have more than 12 years of experience in the medical and mental health fields. I received my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
I am passionate about partnering with clients to support them in living life to the fullest. I specialize in working with adults of all ages, both female and male. Most of my career has been spent working alongside adults with chronic health conditions, multiple comorbid conditions, cancer, depression, anxiety, hospice/end of life care, caregiver burnout as well as grief and loss.
While my career has given me a wealth of experience, my personal life has also graced me a passion for helping those going through a separation, divorce, blending a family and step-parenting. With my honest support and feedback, I think you will find it very comforting to know you are not alone in this journey.
In counseling, I like to use an integrative approach. I tend to pull from various methods including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused. Creating an environment that is safe, supportive, full of empathy, compassion and humor is my number one priority.
