Dr. Popkin is a Licensed Psychologist and health service provider with 20 years experience. Her interests include working with various populations in a therapeutic environment along with fitness and wellness. She is a certified 200 hr RYT (yoga instructor) and group exercise certified. She also educates and advises college students. Dr. Popkin promotes individual success for academic, vocational, and personal achievement. Dr. Popkin is currently working on research interests which includes diversity, health and wellness, women issues, multiculturalism, academic retention, family and children and much more. Dr. Popkin is a licensed psychologist who is a generalist treating a variety of conditions across the life span. Her clinical interests and experiences include anxiety and depressive disorders, childhood disorders, women’s health issues, issues regarding racial and ethnic identity, relationship and family issues, as well as consultation services for children and families. She conducts individual counseling as well as a variety of psychological testing. Dr. Popkin is an advocate for positive mental and physical health as well as overall well-being for all populations ranging from early childhood through older adulthood and incorporating these aspects in their daily lives. She believes in the integration of diverse services to enhance optimal interventions for children, youth and adults.
