I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Council Approved Supervisor, with over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked for treatment programs, in corrections, acute care settings, as a clinician, and supervisor. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work in 2009, focusing on mental and emotional health, physical wellness, diversity, adolescent, and women's concern's. My clients find themselves to be successful in many areas of their life, yet are experiencing concerns that interfere with their ability to feel truly fulfilled. These concerns may include anxious thoughts, burn-out/depression, perfectionistic tendencies, familial/relationship issues & physical symptoms related to stress (including panic attacks, digestive issues & chronic pain). I work with adults and teens of all backgrounds to cultivate self-awareness & implement practical coping strategies.
