As a counselor, I feel it is important to build transformative relationships with people to help them reach their personal goals. I like to use a collaborative and holistic approach with individuals. I find joy in helping clients reach their full potential and helping clients navigate through life, during difficult times. I’m person-centered, very easy to talk to, and I always go above and beyond for my clients. I approach counseling with empathy and understanding and I use a holistic approach to fully attend to each client’s needs. I believe it is important for an individual to have an outlet and someone to talk to, especially when they are overwhelmed and may not know how to cope with their emotions or which direction to go. I believe in achieving high-quality work as a counselor, which means meeting an individual where they are. What that means to me is listening to someone, without judgment, to understand their wants and needs. This also means understanding where they are on their journey and trying to find ways in which I can assist them in reaching their goals.
