Hey there! I'm Jessica, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW in the state of Florida. I have been working in the field of mental health since 2013, and been practicing mental health counseling since 2015. I have a passion for others, especially their story. I love walking with people through their pain to help them experience healing.

While working in outpatient community mental health all of the adults I worked with had experienced trauma. Many of them were coping with grief, anxiety, and feelings of depression. My approach is client centered, and considers childhood experiences, and the family system. I appreciate each person for who they are, and respect their perspective. I have worked with clients struggling with abuse (physical and emotional), grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family relationships, behavioral issues, domestic violence etc. I generally use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT while also incorporating positive psychology, as I have seen improvements with both of those approaches. I also incorporate mindfulness as this is helpful for us all!
