Hi,

My name is Jeremy, and I am a licensed social worker with over 15 years of experience providing services doing community mental health addressing a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, substance abuse, personality disorders, psychosis, and more. My work is grounded in person-centered therapy, in which I maintain a firm commitment to empathy and compassion. I believe that all people have the inner resources to help them answer their questions, but at times it is helpful to have somebody to talk things out with. I have additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy, in which I use problem solving to identify and commit to plans that support you to move in the direction you choose. My training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy can provide specific skills to increase mindfulness, emotional awareness and control, and decrease feelings of distress. Additionally, I believe in harm reduction, in which my goal isn't necessarily to lead you toward a path of abstinence (although I'll fully support those goals as well!), but to support you to make any small changes you can that will lead to increased happiness and reduced suffering and harm.

I am a creative person, and I love traveling and exploring. I believe there are many sides to us that can be explored, and all should be honored and given space. I recognize you for taking the time to seek support and growth in your life.
