I have a Masters degree in Community and School Counseling and hold credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have worked extensively with children, young adults, and parents in a variety of settings ranging from Chicago Public Schools to Private Schools. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, suicidality, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, ODD, eating disorders, and ADHD.

My counseling style is warm, empathic, and relational. I believe in the importance of unconditional positive regard for my clients and fostering an environment that is free from judgment. No matter the presenting concerns, it takes courage to seek support and find vulnerability. I treat all of my clients with the respect, sensitivity, and compassion they deserve as human beings; knowing they have entrusted me with their inner thoughts and feelings is a responsibility I take seriously and treat with the utmost care.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and client-centered therapy. When working with young adults and children, I have seen the value in using brief, solution-focused therapy and will apply that methodology when it is appropriate to the client.
