My name is Jennifer Roos and I am a licensed professional counselor in the greater Denver, CO area. I have been working with a variety of clients in multiple mental health settings for over five years. I am passionate about helping individuals grow and learn as they navigate the complexities of identity formation and relationships with self and others. My goal is to get to know my clients and build an effective treatment plan that will help each individual become more like the person they were meant to be. I provide an integrative approach to therapy that is individualized and intentionally developed to meet my client’s specific needs. In particular, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Narrative and Person-centered approaches. I am flexible, empathic, and culturally sensitive. I work to create a space where clients feel free to express themselves without fear of judgment. I have experience working with clients who struggle with anxiety, relational barriers, life transitions and more. My sessions focus on addressing what is happening currently as well as exploring past experiences to identify how they are impacting one’s current well-being.
