Hi! If this is your first experience with counseling, then welcome. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia, and I have been in practice for the past 7 years. My passions include working with women at various life stages. Young women trying to find their way in the adult world, moms, pregnant and postpartum women, women going through separation /divorce, or women who feel as though they have lost their identity to the titles that they hold (wife, mom, career, etc.). I was clinically trained as an LPC, however I was dually trained with an emphasis in Christian Counseling. I believe in the healing power of faith, however this does not negate the very real struggles that women experience. The impact of life's circumstance can have tangible and long lasting effects on our self esteem, relationships, and interactions with others. My goal is to help women find their "balance" while remembering their intrinsic value. As a mother, and wife, I understand the immense pressure to "do it all". My hope is that you realize that you don't have to do all of this alone. My goal is to partner with you to find solutions to life's problems, and maybe also find a little humor and a little grace along the way.
