I am a licensed professional counselor of over twenty years. I was licensed in 1997 after completing my master's degree in Counseling with an emphasis in mental health in 1995. I have always worked in a private practice setting as well as in clinical setting for couples in crisis for eight years. I work primarily with older teenagers, adults, and married couples. I work extensively with women regarding women's issues; including eating disorders, abuse, trauma recovery, and healing from narcissistic abuse. I have helped clients in developing a sense of identity, boundaries, self-care, and holistic well-being. I have helped people work through processes of grief, eating disorder and addictions recovery, and abuse and trauma healing. Clients have expressed that I create a safe place and share practical tools toward change.

My passion is to encourage people to live in the truth of who they are in their unique design as a person. I have a specific tool set to help people uncover and address underlying fears leading to communication at a heart-level, relational connection; and conflict resolution.

I was described by one client as patient, direct, gentle, empathetic, encouraging, discerning, helpful, reassuring, and guiding through example. Another client said "through your guidance and approach; I began to feel like I could actually walk away from toxic relationships, set boundaries, and step into who I was created to be."
