Thank you for taking the first step in your journey towards wellness! It is my hope that in taking this journey, you will discover new ways to cope with life's challenges. I am here to support you every step of the way. A little about my experience:

I earned both a Master of Social Work degree (University of Georgia, 2008) and Bachelor of Social Work degree (University of Alabama at Birmingham, 2007) to prepare me to help you overcome. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia. In 2008, I began my career in social work at the Department of Family and Children Services. Since that time, I have provided clinical therapy to children, adolescents, families, adults, veterans, elderly, and couples populations in the community and office settings. My palate of expertise includes treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, PTSD, Sexual Trauma, Grief/Loss, Self-Esteem, ADHD & other childhood/adolescent behavioral/emotional disorders, Anger Management, Relationship & Family Issues, Substance Use Prevention, and other severe persistent mental illnesses. Therapy modalities I specialize in are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Relapse Prevention and other Skills Training, among others.

Therapy is a process of gaining an awareness of how your thoughts and subsequent reactions to those thoughts impact your daily functioning. My personal and professional experiences have provided me the gift of being able to meet you in the mental space where you are without judgement or bias. Processing life experiences can be a complicated maze that requires help from others to navigate it. I aim to listen first so that you can feel heard & respected leading to a mutual collaboration towards recovery. I will be there to encourage, empower, and challenge you to push pass your past, focus on your present, and embrace your future. I am fair, honest, empathetic, wise, and passionate about my work.
