Welcome to Douté Counseling Services. My name is Jemal Douté, owner and operator of Douté Counseling Services. My career as a Therapist started in the year 2006 but the desire be a Psychotherapist started long before then. I am a life time learner in the Mental Health Field. I’ve served as President of the New York City Chapter of Family Therapist. Trained as a certified EMDR II Truama therapist, a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, A Prepare-Enrich Premarital Counseling Trainer, Certified Hypnotherapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor of therapist and a US DOT Substance Abuse Professional…amongst other qualifications in the profession. When myself or my staff work with you and/or your family you will be receiving all of my life experiences as well as theirs into your healing.
