About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri. I have been in private practice for 20 years. I work with clients who experience various degrees of depression, anxiety, trauma symptoms, and the resultant quality of life issues in their personal, professional, and family lives. I have a wholistic approach to my counseling practice, with an exploration of how every experience we have can have an effect on our world view, and when we are able to process those experiences, our view of ourselves and our lives can improve.

My counseling approach is geared toward you, the individual. We collaborate about what is most important to you, and we work together to find the solutions that work for you. You set the pace of your own growth, and I help you explore the means to meet your goals. My approach combines solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and insight oriented therapy, in addition to a humanistic approach to you as a unique individual.

I recognize that engaging in therapy can be a big step in a person's growth and healing, and I am honored to accompany my clients on that journey. I am willing to commit to my client's growth process, and do the best that I can to help you achieve your goals.
