Mr. Darling is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving the Atlanta metropolitan area. He has earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Marketing from Marshall University, a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, and an Education Specialist degree from Valdosta State University, and he has over 20 years of experience as a counselor. Mr. Darling believes that starting therapy can be a daunting task, especially if you don’t feel ready. Therapy is a collaborative process and guides clients to increase self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strength to have a more meaningful life experience. Mr. Darling uses an eclectic therapeutic approach primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He truly believes that therapy is for everyone, but not every therapist is for every client: therefore, he encourages open communication regarding the process of therapy so clients can best overcome their obstacles.
