Hello my name is Janelle DeBlock and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Missouri. I have 8 years of experience counseling individuals and families in community, office based, teen residential, and public school settings. I attended Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX where I received my Masters Degree. I have worked with children PreK-high school, adolescents and adults with a variety of presenting problems such as depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, anger, trauma, phase of life changes, relationship issues, and many more. I am certified in AutPlay Therapy for children and teens with learning and communication disabilities. I am also trained in EMDR Therapy.

My approach is client centered, with a warm and accepting approach offering support and validation, while helping you identify and work through current life challenges and situations. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness, play therapy, and EMDR techniques and I tailor my approach based on your unique needs. I believe counseling is a beneficial healing experience that required collaboration between client and therapist. I will work with you to help you identify your unique individual strengths and mental health goals, and walk with you through your healing journey.
