Hi! My name is Jamie and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker holding a license in both California and Texas. I have been working in the mental health field over 5 years in various settings from individual psychotherapy, partial hospitalization programs, inpatient psychiatric care and in the emergency room setting. Given the range of the different levels of care that I have worked in, this has lead me to have great experience working with a wide variety of issues, stressors and disorders.

I have training in DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), trauma informed care and motivational interviewing. Given my formal educational background as a social worker , I like to take a strength based approach meeting you where you're at and helping use the skills within you to meet your goals.

I find that therapy is a very personal and individual experience and therefore my approach differs with each client to best meet them at their needs which is why I have and am continuing to keep myself abreast of the different therapy approaches. What I love about mental health is that it is not a one size fits all regimen and I don't believe that your therapist should be that way either. I look forward to learning more about you and helping support you along your unique journey.
