About

I am Jaketra Bryant, a licensing clinician in the state of Alabama and Georgia. I bring to you over 12 years of experience in multiple settings. I began my career working in prisons and jails then moved to community mental health, in-patient hospitals, public University settings, and with the military before coming into my own private practice. I am completing my doctorate in Organizational Leadership, therefore, I bring evidence-based and personal lived experiences on topics of gender inequality, race, and ethnic disparities, and health disparities among women and people of color. I specialize in social/cultural reaffirming therapy practices, trauma work, mindfulness techniques, attachment styles, intergenerational trauma bondage, sexuality, liberation therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, and diversity and inclusion practices. My authentic approach helps clients become vulnerable and feel safe to allow the much-needed journey to self-discovery, self-liberation, and finding direction and joy in life.
