I am licensed in North Carolina with 32 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues & coping with grief and loss. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
Sometime life circumstances can occur and create significant problems and difficulty in our lives. These circumstances can be centered on adolescent/teen issues, parenting issues, marital problems, stress to include PTSD reintegration issues and grief due to profound loss.
Again I have worked over 32 years as a professional social worker in a variety of settings to include government instillations working with military active duty and veterans, nursing home and MHMR settings.
I have learned that what prevents us from growing and having a rich and fulfilling lifestyle is our inability to let go of painful memories and unresolved issues that captivates our inner being preventing us from the happiness we deserve.
I believe the experience of counseling involves accepting the challenge of working thru significant and painful issues and deciding not to hold on to hurt and emotional pain that prevents us from having a rich and fulfilling life.
