About
Welcome! It takes courage to take that first step, seeking help and support, and I am so glad you did. We all face the demands of work, family, marriage, and relationships daily. Add in financial, personal, and societal pressures to the mix, and life can definitely get overwhelming. I’m here to help! I followed my passion of wanting to help others and made a career change from working in the corporate/private sector to practicing therapy for those seeking mental health support. In addition to private practice, I have had the privilege of working as a public servant with the County of Orange, providing mental health services to the underserved population. My experience includes treating individuals and families dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, co-occurring disorders, personality disorders, stress management, life transitions, symptoms of/changes with aging, and grief and loss among others. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in mental health with a focus on individuals, families, and wellness, and military social work. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can collaborate together to help identify areas that you want to address or talk about and work through them together. Whether you are confronted by your past or a life change that has you feeling stuck or even paralyzed, I am here to help you put things into perspective, build and regain your confidence, strengthen the connection with yourself and others, and thrive moving forward—one day at a time. I am adept at working with individuals of all backgrounds and lifestyles. I come from a whole-person, client-centered, strength-based approach where the focus is always on you. Looking forward to meeting you!
